BioI'm doing a Ph.D. in the Fluid Analogies Research Group (FARG), the most interesting place ever. My goal is to understand music cognition and to use said knowledge to write computer programs that compose their own music in much the same way that people write music. I plan to be a professor someday to continue my research, and hopefully I won't have to fall back to my backup career possibilites such as making smarter AI missiles for the government, being a cryptographer with the NSA, writing computer games, or making music for TV ads or porno movies (just kidding).
I also am serious about writing my own musical, because Boublil & Schoenberg's shows don't come out fast enough to satisfy me!
